Christian Milau
CEO & Director
Christian Milau is a globally recognized mining executive with over two decades of experience. As co-founder and CEO of Equinox Gold Corp., he transformed the company from a single-asset explorer to a top 20 global gold producer, completing over $1.5 billion in acquisitions and raising more than $1 billion in debt and equity financings.
His leadership has been instrumental in navigating complex environments, including overseeing the construction of the Karma mine in Burkina Faso during a political coup. As CFO of Endeavour Mining, he helped lead the expansion of operations from one to five gold mines across West Africa. Christian also played a key role in the financing and development of several other mining companies globally. He is currently a non-executive director of New Gold, Northern Dynasty Minerals, Arras Minerals and Copper Standard Resources.
David Awram

David Awram is a geologist and co-founder of Sandstorm Gold Royalties, a multi-billion-dollar company that has deployed over $1.5 billion in capital to acquire 250 royalties and streams globally. He played a pivotal role in the creation of the precious metals streaming model at Silver Wheaton, revolutionizing project financing in the mining industry.
With nearly three decades of experience in mining and capital markets, David has contributed to transformative projects, including the growth of Wheaton River/Goldcorp and supporting the success of Pathway Capital and its investee companies.
Greg Davis
Executive Director
Greg Davis is a seasoned mining professional with over 25 years of experience in project development, spanning from discovery to feasibility study to obtaining mining licenses, with a strong focus on the Arabian-Nubian Shield. He was a key member of the exploration and development teams for the world-class and high-grade Bisha Mine and Asmara Projects in Eritrea, where he helped define over 100 million tonnes of measured and indicated copper, zinc, and gold resources across six deposits.
Greg has completed six feasibility-level studies on volcanogenic massive sulphide deposits in the region and is known for advancing projects to construction-ready status in industry-leading timeframes. His expertise includes integrating cutting-edge exploration technologies and creating high-level ESG programs, which he has successfully implemented across the Arabian-Nubian Shield over the last two decades.
Marcel de Groot
Non-Executive Director
Marcel is a co-founder of Pathway Capital in 2004. Pathway has extensive experience in taking resource companies from incorporation through the initial funding rounds and ultimately public financing or mergers. Successful deals include Sandstorm Gold, Equinox Gold, Solaris Resources, Versamet Royalties, Peru Copper and Arequipa Resources; several of which have grown from exploration and discovery to over $1 billion in value.
Thomas Feldmann

Tom has over 20 years of broad corporate finance and investment banking experience in energy, mining and industrial manufacturing. He is a partner of Fremont Sage LLC, a private investment group focused on early stage equity investments in natural resources and renewable energy technology. Tom is an MBA and electrical engineer.
Jim Paterson

Jim is a principal of Discovery Group, which has lead, financed and transacted numerous gold, copper and other resource companies – Great Bear Resources, Northern Empire Resources, Kaminak Gold and other companies. He has been a mining exploration sector executive, director and investor since 1997.
Khemissi David Daoud
EVP Exploration
David Daoud is an exploration geologist with over 30 years of experience across North America, South America and Africa, including two decades focused on the Arabian-Nubian Shield. He has a proven track record of VMS deposit discoveries, leading exploration teams at Nevsun Resources and Sunridge Gold to major successes such as the Bisha VMS deposit/mine and the Asmara/Emba Derho deposit in Eritrea.
David has advanced multiple projects from discovery to bankable feasibility, including securing mining licenses for significant deposits. His expertise extends to greenstone-hosted orogenic gold exploration in West Africa and Brazil and diamond discoveries in northern Canada, making him a globally accomplished geologist.
Scott Ansell
VP Project Development
Scott Ansell is a mining project leader with over 20 years of experience managing exploration and development projects in the Arabian-Nubian Shield. He has an exceptional track record in completing feasibility studies for major VMS deposits, including the Bisha mine and Asmara project in Eritrea. His expertise spans technical studies, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement.
As a co-founder of Sun Peak Metals, Scott has led large-scale mining initiatives and overseen over 200 development studies globally during his tenure at AMEC Americas Ltd. He is recognized for his ability to integrate technical, environmental and financial strategies to advance mining projects efficiently and sustainably.
